Tanks? A Museum? Seeing real tanks driving around? Count us in!
We have been to the AAF Tank Museum in Danville, Virginia a few times. We typically only go when they are doing a “Tank Run Day” when they actually start a couple pieces from their museum up and drive them around for everyone to watch. What’s even cooler? They have a raffle and you can win a spot to ride in the equipment when they drive it around the museum. The icing on the cake is we actually won the raffle and Sam got to ride in the APC! What an experience!
They also do a flame-thrower day, but we haven’t made it to one of those yet. Someday soon!
