If you have ever been interested in cars and vehicles, I highly recommend the Henry Ford Museum in Deerborn, Michigan. This place is massive! We only toured the museum, and spent the entire day there and still didn’t see everything! There is also the Greenfield Village which I hear takes another half day at least. We plan to do that portion the next time we visit!
Since our kids do enjoy machines, tractors, trains, and cars, this place was enjoyable for everyone. They have plenty of exhibits for kids to participate in as well as vehicles the kids can sit down in. In a couple of these pictures you’ll see our kids driving a car, a combine, and learning engineering by building a structure with toothpicks to see how far they can push it’s weight bearing capabilities (hint: triangles!).
